Then, you will see a Discord folder and have to right click on it. Then, you have to select the Delete option, and for configuration click “Yes”. 

Step 6: Using the code taskkill/F/MDiscord.exe

This is the alternate option of step 5. If the above method fails, then to solve the problem on why the Discord is not opening, you can use this. You have to press the Windows+R key. A Run box will appear. You have to type ‘cmd’ on the given blank box, now click Okay. You will see a command box on your screen. You will see a box type “taskkill/F/MDiscord.exe”, and then press Enter. And, you will see the result.

You have seen that the Discord application is not working properly. The reason behind this is proxies and VPN. To disable this you need a search control panel on the search box. You have to click it to go further. Then, an option list will appear, you have to click ‘network and internet’. Again, click on ‘internet option’. 

You will see the ‘Internet properties’ box get displayed. Click the ‘connections’ option, on the top right. Then, scroll down and you will see the ‘LAN setting’ option, click it. LAN settings will get displayed. Now, find ‘use a proxy server for your LAN’, click the check box. Then, you have to click OK twice to confirm.  

Step 8: Using the Code ipconfig/flushdns

Sometimes, you will see that you have to reset DNS, as it may interfere with the Discord and won’t allow you to work properly. First, you have to hold the Window+R key. A run box will display, there type ‘cmd’ and then OK. A command box will appear. Now, on the command box type ‘ipconfig/flushdns’ in the given space and press Enter. You will see that it removes the DNS cache. 

If you follow all the steps accordingly, then it will solve the problem. After step 4, this method is an alternate way to solve the problem of the Discord app.
