The new LEGO Atari 2600 set, a nostalgic reproduction of one of the most well-known video gaming consoles of all time, has just been released by LEGO.
When the classic Atari VCS/2600 arrived in 1977, it became an instant smash. The new LEGO set is based on the four-switch update that launched in 1980.
Atari's new LEGO kit comes with elements like a controller with a joystick that moves to replicate the original's pop-up scene from an arcade from the 1980s.
Asteroids, Adventure, and Centipede video game cartridges in brick form are also included in the bundle. The games' miniature versions can be created using the cartridges, which can be kept in a case.
The console also has a button that lets you choose between a colour TV and a black-and-white TV. Chris McVeigh is The designer of Atari 2600
The Atari 2600 was one of the most memorable gifts I had as a child, according to designer and lifetime Atari lover Chris McVeigh. I remember sitting in front of the TV for hours, playing arcade games
There were also a lot of iconic games like Centipede, Adventure, and Asteroids. Because of this, creating this wonderful kit that combines two icons—Atari and LEGO—has been such an amazing experience.
We hoped that creating this vintage console will transport you back to the glorious era when a few pixels could open up a whole universe of adventure.
