Recently, there was a clash between India and China at the Siachen border (Ladakh) which has created a topsy-turvy situation amongst these two country’s armed forces. The government of India is trying to discuss the situation with China. This will help both the governments to handle this tuff situation peacefully.
Reports say that China has violated the cease-fire in some of the eastern parts of Ladakh. Thus, initiating the tension between the two countries. That’s why the Indian government took the first initial step to slash off one of the Indo-China business deals, ordering to ban 59 Chinese Apps.
The Indian cyber system has banned 59 applications that belong to China. Moreover, the Indian government has stated that these applications are fully engaged in the prejudicial integrity of the country.
The Indian government used Section 69A of the Information Technology Act in order to take this step. China is seriously concerned about this step that is taken by India. In addition to that, there are few Chinese Apps that were very much famous like TikTok, Clean master, Hago, Sweet Selfie, etc which will lose their own economic balance.
Experts say that this was an excellent move taken by the government. As a result, the ban of TikTok will help to welcome Indian apps like Roposo, Bolo Indya, and others. Not only this will assist in raising certain parts of the Indian economy but also ensure data security at its highest level.
Moreover, China will face a massive economic crisis and pressure as they rely heavily on Indian cyber markets. Now, it will be very much challenging whether a similar Indian application will be able to fulfil the cyber economy or not. On the other hand, looking at the positive views, the competitive threat will go down.
There are a lot of apps in India that are truly inspired by famous Chinese apps. Thus, there is a chance that both the country’s ecosystem ingenuity will deteriorate. In addition to that, the market share and value will also go down as well.
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center and the Ministry of Home Affairs also took another step to restrict all the malicious applications. The Ministry of Home Affairs previously received a lot of reports about the security of personal data and the risk of privacy.
There were several apps amongst the list which were malicious and people are concerned with it. The step banning apps has helped those people to use made in India apps. In doing so, hopefully, they will regain their data security and privacy as well.
After the declaration of the ban of 59 applications, those apps were removed from Google’s PlayStore and Apple’s App Store. Furthermore, Google has been receiving various types of complaints and reports associated with the misuse of these Chinese applications.
According to a recent analysis, India has the right to maintain its national security and defend it at any cost. Moreover, the deep and immediate concerns from Google and Apple helped India to secure data during emergency measures.
Amongst all the multiple fronts, the Government of India has hit China with its first salvo by banning 59 mobile applications. In doing so, the Chinese government is really worried about it. According to the Chinese foreign minister, their government always advises the entire business industry to be abiding by all foreign laws and regulations.
They are also expecting that the Indian government also has certain and major responsibilities to think rationally about it. In addition to that, the Indian Government must think and uphold the legal rights of foreign people who invest. China must be one of them.
