(April 23, 2008)
John Kass of the Chicago Tribune on April 6, 2008 said Barack Obama's wounds inflicted by his pastor, the Rev Jeremiah Wright were "serious and profound." But it doesn't seem to matter so much with his supporters. The liberal white and African-Americans who view Obama as their Messiah are still too star struck to be fazed much by what someone else says, even as incendiary as those words from his pastor during the last 20 years. They even swallow his swill about never hearing anything like that before from Rev Wright, which you should know is a bald faced lie; one of many from Barack Obama.
I am delighted just to see the truth; this information out there, and it will assuredly be used to undermind his bid in the general election. How dumb and foolish can the Democrats be if they nominate Barack Hussein Obama?
"It's got to be tough when reporters ask about that 10,000-square-foot suburban mansion the church bought for Wright, the one along the golf course, the one with the $1.6 million mortgage held by the church. Wright has damaged Obama by cursing America from the pulpit, breaking one of the 10 Commandments along the way, shouting "G-d damn America!," blaming our nation for the 9/11 terrorist attacks and suggesting our government infected people of color with AIDS. "And, they will attack you, if you try to point out what's going on in white America, the U.S. of KKK-A!" Wright was quoted as saying. Now that he's retired, I wonder if he'll play a tape of that one while he's out on his deck, perhaps holding a new titanium driver, smiling, absently listening to himself shouting "white America, the U.S. of KKK-A!" but also thinking ahead, to the water hazards and sand traps on that back nine." (Kass)
And John asks, "Is this a great country or what?"
Yes, it is and the great pretender from Hawaii
is surfing on a wave of "hope" hawking false promises
like a proficient huckster selling snake oil salesman.
